The other day, I stumbled upon an old music playlist that I haven’t listened to in awhile. The first song that came on was a ol’ favorite of mine, from Bert Jansch, “The Gardener”. Procrastinating another looming deadline, I decided to see just how many other garden related songs I had in my seemingly bottomless music library. So NOW,….with deadline, this very day, upon me…..I bring you……
EDDIE’s TOP 20
SONGS ABOUT GARDEN RELATED STUFF!!!
I actually had fun doing this! AND it turned out to be a pretty cool playlist, if I do say so m’self!! Any excuse to dig through my record collection, to revisit near-forgotten, hidden treasure & their memories. Ironically, most of the artists to fit the criteria, here, were more “staple artists” in all my compilations. Somehow, I didn’t necessarily think Don Covay was a big garden enthusiast, but worth a 2nd & 3rd look. Not a mention.
Songs are listed here, in no particular order, beginning with Bert, as he’s who the list started with. I hope you enjoy this music as much as I do! What’s your GARDEN PLAYLIST?? Share your “TOP 10 or 20” below!!
